Is the ski pass included with the ski lesson? Is it necessary?
No, the ski pass is not included in the ski lessons and is compulsory.

If I progress quickly, could I change groups?
You must enrol in the level closest to your own. Sometimes it is necessary to change groups during the week, in which case the instructors will do what is necessary to ensure that you are not left in a group that does not suit you.
Is insurance included in ski lessons?
No, ski lessons do not include insurance. The only insurance available is the Carré Neige Intégrale insurance, which is offered when you book your group lessons.
What is the "Super 8" course?
The "Super 8" course is a group course only during the week of the New Year holidays and during the February school holidays. The number of children per group is limited to 8. The course lasts 2 hours: 12pm-2pm (New Year week) and 11.45am-1.45pm (February weeks).
We're both at the same level, is it possible to be in the same group?
If you have the same level and are in the same age category, then you can be together during the week, just ask the instructors on the first day.

How do Club Piou Piou ski lessons work?
The ski lesson programme is designed to suit the pace of 3-year-olds. Outside the periods when they are learning to slide, time is divided between food breaks, bathroom breaks, games and discovering the snow and mountain environment.
Do I need to hire ski equipment?
Ski equipment is not included. Skis + boots + helmet must be hired.
Should children be given a snack?
You can slip a small snack into your child's pocket.
How should children be dressed?
Warm, comfortable, waterproof jacket, dungarees or overalls. Mittens rather than finger gloves. Mask or sunglasses. Anti-UV sun cream.
MINI CLUB LES SKIMÔMES
What is Les SkiMômes Mini Club?
The Mini Club Les SkiMômes is a daycare facility offering ski courses for children aged 3 to 8 (from beginner to 3ème Étoile level) and welcomes them for daycare before and after lessons. Meals and half-day daycare activities are available in addition to the ski courses.
What is the difference between Club Piou Piou and Mini Club Les Skimômes?
Club Piou Piou is the ESF's group lesson for 3-4 year-olds. Parents accompany their children to the kindergarten at the start of the lesson and collect them afterwards. Les Skimômes Mini Club is a daycare facility which offers ski courses for children aged 3 to 8 and welcomes them for a daycare activity before and after lessons. Meals and half-day daycare activities are available in addition to the ski courses. Please note: Children must be 3 years old, toilet-trained and at school.
I arrive on Sunday. Can I start my course on Monday?
Mini Club Les SkiMômes offers ski courses with daycare and/or meals only over 6 days: from Sunday to Friday. Please note: there are no meals on Sundays.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we advise you to book in advance as places are limited. When you arrive in the resort, the Les Skimômes mini club team will welcome you on Saturday afternoons from 14:00 to 18:00 (at the Lauzières residence) to finalise your children's enrolment (collection of club cards, weekly programme, allocation of lockers, tidying up equipment, etc.).
Do I need to show my health record?
You must present your health record (up-to-date DT Polio vaccine). You can send a copy of the up-to-date vaccination with the health form and proof of age when you book.
Can I leave my ski equipment at the mini club?
Yes, children have a locker in the daycare where they can leave their ski equipment.
Do children nap?
For the youngest children, a nap is not guaranteed but can be organised regularly for a group of children.
Can my 5-8 year old take a morning + afternoon ski course at the mini club?
Yes, children aged 5 to 8 can take a morning + afternoon ski course (with or without lunch).
